Greg Gilliland

On July 12, 2022 Gregory "Greg" Franklin Gilliland entered heaven as a new Angel. Greg was a beloved father, husband, brother, son, coach, church elder, and Alabama conservation officer. He left behind a wife Kelli, a daughter Alyssa, two sons Matthew and Jacob, his two parents Virginia and Paul, a sister Paula, and a brother Lance.

Greg was an active member of the church, a supporter and Coach within the Munford Alabama athletic community, and a leader within the local Boy Scout troop. He was an avid outdoorsman, often hunting on any day he was not working.

Greg truly loved working with his Alabama conservation officer family who he has worked with since 2003. He thought of Jerry Fincher and Jason Bassett as his brothers. He blessed so many people, from so many different places and backgrounds, and will be missed by all who came into contact with him.

The moment he left this Earth, we know that Mr. George Reinier greeted him with open arms.

The funeral will be held at Harvest Baptist Church of God on Saturday the 16th. Visitation for friends welcome at 10 am. Funeral service starts at 11 am.
