Greg Rivera Medical Fund

Update: Greg is out of the hospital, at home, surrounded by the love of his family! This is the beginning of a new path and we appreciate the continued support for the road ahead.

Friends, family and community - our dear brother, friend, father, uncle, son, and pillar of the Oakdale community, Greg Rivera is in need of our support.

On Sunday morning October 8th 2023, Greg experienced a severe and unexpected heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital and required intensive medical procedures in order to save his life.

While he is currently in stable condition and we are beyond grateful we still have him with us, he has a long road ahead to get back to 100%. Greg has never been one to accept charity, but we asking the community to help ease the financial burden. We are asking for any form of donations on behalf of his family to help them cover the ongoing medical expenses, combined with Greg not being able to work for the time-being.

We can’t thank all of the medical team members, community members, and all who are caring and praying for Greg enough. Please help us spread the love and support Greg, as he has blessed this earth and this community for 61 years.

As the daughter and god daughter of Greg Rivera, Lauren and Melissa Rivera have set up a bank account to pay Greg Rivera's medical bills directly, with his persimmons, as he rests and recovers. Greg Rivera is a thankful for everyone's continued support and prayers as he navigates this new health journey.
