Greg Rupp's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Laura Rupp and my father-in-law, Greg Rupp, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and left home on March 29 for St Elizabeth's Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY. With treatment for the virus and one complication after another, he was in the hospital for 113 days, 28 of which were on a ventilator. He was discharged to an intense rehabilitation facility called Gateway for 17 days and then moved to his current location, a skilled nursing facility called Boonespring in Union, KY and has been there for 21 days. On top of the monumental hospital bills, Boonespring has a copay of $160 a day.
With visitation restrictions, dad has not seen his family face to face for 5 months! We need to get him home! With that goal in mind, we will need to rent or buy the necessary medical equipment to take care of him at home as well as to pay for the respiratory, physical, occupational and speech therapy that he requires to grow strong and healthy again.
Our needs are immediate! Anything you can give would go directly to help dad in his recovery.
Here is an article that was written about Greg while he was still in the hospital.
