Greg Samiter: A Beloved Husband, Father, and Grand Father

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gregory Samiter, a truly extraordinary man. Greg passed away peacefully at 9:37 PM, after a brave and relentless two-year battle with leukemia. Throughout this journey, Greg showed unwavering strength, love, and resilience, serving as an inspiring beacon to everyone who knew him.

After his bone marrow transplant, we hoped his health would take a positive turn. However, repeated infections kept him in and out of the hospital, and as the medical bills mounted, the family’s savings, retirement funds, and 401k were drawn down to cover his care. Now, as we begin to make arrangements to honor Greg’s life, we reflect on the legacy he leaves behind. He will be forever cherished by his devoted wife of 38 years, his beloved daughter and son, his three adoring grandchildren, and the countless others whose lives he touched. Greg’s kindness, warmth, and inspiration will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Greg gave so much of himself, teaching his family and friends what it means to live with courage and love. Now, it’s our turn to give back to him and his family. Any donation, large or small, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated. Let’s come together to support this wonderful family in their time of need.

Thank you for helping us honor Greg’s legacy.
