A New Computer for Duwan & Greg

Dear Animals of Cabbagetown,

Woof.  Woof, woof.  Bow wow wow.  Woof.   Meow.  Meow, meow.  

Now that we have your (& your owner's) attention, we have a request.  You may have heard that Duwan & Greg's Macbook has gone to that great Apple store in the sky.  Here's how Duwan put it on her most recent facebook post: "Bad news. The computer isn't worth fixing. More bad news, a new Mac isn't cheap. So tired of broken things and spending money. Not sure of our next move on this one."

Duwan & Greg use their computer for work, for entertainment, to help figure out where to go & how to get there, and to communicate with friends in far-off lands (including all of us).   Wouldn't it be nice if we could all chip in just a little bit to help them afford a new computer?  Even if we can't pay for all of it, every little bit helps.  

There are so many ways Duwan & Greg make Cabbagetown a better place. (Spearheading the painting of Bertha's house this year is just one example!)  I'm sure everyone has their own story they could tell about some kindness, small or large, that Greg or Duwan has done for them through the years.  

Whatever your story about Duwan & Greg, please consider this an opportunity to thank them for all they do for Cabbagetown.  

So pets of Cabbagetown, please ask your owners if you can donate to this worthy cause.  You may need them to push the buttons, since you don't have opposable thumbs.  No amount is too big or too small.
