Gregory DeRosa, 46, passed away unexpectedly August 25, 2022.

"You always think you have more time and then it changes in an instant.

On Thursday morning, Greg lost his battle with a rare neurological disorder called Huntington's Disease. If you didn't know about his medical struggles, it's because he never talked about it. He never complained. He never wanted anyone to be burdened or feel uncomfortable. Also, he probably didn't want to talk about it. The past few years have not been easy as he was declining due the disease.

There are so many pictures with so many great memories. In 12 years, he never said a harsh word to me, no matter what. He always smiled (and as you can see, he has the biggest one.) I never met anyone who didn't like Greg.

I can't believe he is gone so soon. I thought I had more time. I took it all for granted. We are heartbroken. I lost my husband. Jacoby lost his dad. His mom lost her son. His brothers lost their brother. His friends and family lost an amazing person.

All I can say, is that he is no longer suffering. The road would not have gotten any easier. He would have only continued to suffer more.

I love you Gregory. I'm so sorry. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. You will always be with us." -Michele Derosa
