Gregory Twist was a beloved husband, father, brother and son who passed away at age 67 on March 4, 2021 following complications after a long fight against Covid-19. He loved his family, friends, community and country. He lived quietly and simply in Georgetown with his wife, Jeannie, and mother Geneva Ray. No one was prepared for his sudden passing.
Greg was the cornerstone of our family, and loved to bring everyone together, be it for the holidays or just a barbecue. He was a loving neighbor and friend, and always welcomed everyone into his heart with open arms.
He loved to play guitar, to woodwork, build beautiful gardens, go fishing, gold-panning and treasure hunting. He was looking forward to retirement, when he had lots of plans to enjoy these pursuits with his wife Jeannie.
Any funds we gather will go towards his funeral and memorial services, as well as hospital bill accrued in his lengthy hospital stay, and will go to his wife Jeannie to help handle those expenses.
