Greg’s COVID fight!!

Hello, my name is Tiffany. I’m Greg’s sister..

For those of you that don’t know him, he’s an Army Veteran and a Father of two to Dylan-18 and Rebecca-17.

I’m starting this go fund me account because as you know, anything unexpected leaves worry about how to pay the bills.

As his sister, I want to do everything I can to make this easier on him because he’s gonna have a long road of recovery ahead of him.

Greg was confirmed COVID positive September 13, 2021. He was hospitalized on Sept. 19 then was admitted to the ICU a week later on Sept. 26 with two chest tubes and maxed out on oxygen. Just a few days after that on Sept. 29, he was intubated. Placed on a ventilator.. He has COVID pneumonia as well as a blood clot on one of his lungs and subcutaneous emphysema. But, he is starting to show signs of improvement!!

I know it’s going to be very difficult physically and mentally when he returns home with not being able to return to work as soon as he would like and I’m sure he’ll need physical therapy along with whatever else comes with the recovery of COVID.. If y’all could, no matter how big or small, any donation is appreciated!! This will cover whatever he may need. Bills, medications, etc.

He’s been through the wringer and I don’t want him to worry about anything or be focused on anything else when he gets out other than getting better and stronger!!

UPDATE Oct. 18th:

He’s still on the ventilator, now he has a trach connected to the ventilator. He was doing great but his lungs collapsed and it forced the trach out which was connected to his ventilator. He coded and they had to revive him. He was without oxygen for a few minutes and he is now having seizures. They will be doing an eeg and ct scans to get a better look at his brain. Everyone please pray!!
