Gretchen's Battle, God's Glory

Hi, I am Tammy Kugler. I have started this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend, Gretchen Edwards. On May 6th, Gretchen was diagnosed with HERS2+ breast cancer. She met with her team at KU Medical Center and began her journey to fight the cancer. She has already received one chemotherapy treatment and will have another one next week. Chemotherapy treatments will continue through September followed by surgery and radiation treatments. Even though there is a lot ahead of her, Gretchen has fully surrendered this entire journey to God and trusts His plan. Her attitude and faith are inspirational and will certainly be a light for others. I know God will use her to show His love and faithfulness in this battle.

Gretchen is married to Brad Edwards, and they have two boys. They are a family who are always willing to help whoever they can whenever it is needed. They are not ones to reach out because they need help. They are a family that serves the Lord and shares His love wherever they go. As you know finances can become a big stressor, and that is the one thing I do not want Gretchen to have on her plate as she is giving her body every chance possible to fight this cancer. As her friend, I asked if I could start this fundraising event to help alleviate the stress that comes with the onslaught of bills, travel, and unexpected bills that seem to arise when money is already stretched thin.

While Gretchen and her family will tell you that they truly seek your prayers most of all, I want to also provide this opportunity to help them in another way.
