Gretchen's Guardian Angels flying to Portugal

Hi! The Napa Valley is Better Together Board including Megan Dominici, Trent Stopello, Megan Alexander-Short, and Lisa Hiserman would like to personally invite you to become one of Gretchen Wahle's Guardian Angels. This young lady with Down syndrome is not only going to attend Texas A&M University this next year but she has been selected to be on the USA Down Syndrome Swim Team competing at The World Games in Portugal from October 13th-25th, 2022. This has taken lots of hard work on the part of Gretchen and her coach Monica LInn, and they need our support to get there as the road to Portugal is expensive. Since we are always Better Together, we invite you to support Gretchen and her coach with a financial donation and your name will be added to their tshirts so they can feel our strength and love half a world away. After Gretchen returns from her journey, you will be invited to hear her speak about her adventures competing on the international level and attending college.

To compete at this level there are many costs involved including:

Airfare- $1000/person

Room and Board- $1700/person

Uniforms-$500

Event pass-$321

USA Coaching costs-$500

Travel insurance- $unknown

Any extra funds will be donated to USA Down Syndrome swim Team to cover coach costs
