Grey for Tray

Donation protected

My Aunt, Tracy Philp, was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an extremely aggressive and rare  form of brain cancer.  I  want to support her and her family during this time  in any way I can. You can help support them as well by donating and sharing the page!

Tracy's Story:
Like so many of you, Tracy is a loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt, cousin, friend, coworker, etc. Tracy is a hard worker, and has been employed by the Department of Youth Services for over 20 Years. Tracy enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and husband and 14 year old daughter, Kalynn. Tracy has been a primary caretaker for her brother Robert his entire life, and is an advocate for those who don’t have a voice. She isn’t afraid to speak up for people. If you know Tracy she is a fun loving, fast talking, hilarious, and genuine person to be around. She brings joy and lights up any room she enters.

Tracy’s  world changed in March when she had a seizure in the middle of the night. She was rushed to the hospital and after undergoing MRIs, tests, and a brain biopsy, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma. Tracy was receiving treatment which included radiation for the last few months. Even so, Tracy recently suffered from another seizure. Upon more tests, it was discovered her tumor had grown.

Tracy’s husband is the primary caregiver and now,  the sole provider for Tracy and her daughter Kalynn.  Given their current situation, and the pandemic, he has been out of work, and is out of work indefinitely, spending time with  his  wife,  caring for her, and navigating this diagnosis. He is very hardworking, and owns his own car business. He should not have to worry about working and providing for his family during a time like this, but rather should be stress free while spending every minute with his wife.

How You Can Help
So many people have asked how they can help. With a cancer diagnosis, you often feel helpless, donating and sharing this will help lift a burden off of Tracy and her family during this difficult time, and be greatly appreciated. There are lots of “what ifs” as well as financial uncertainty right now for Tracy and her family. The pandemic has brought financial hardship on all of us, but Tracy and her family have an added stress, cancer. We know that right now lots of people are facing financial uncertainty with this pandemic, and we understand, but any little bit would help out!

How will the funds be used?
The money raised will be used to cover:
1. Current care needs
2. Finances so Tracy can enjoy her immediate family during this time, and
3. Start a fund to begin for her 14 year old daughter Kalynn, to help financially secure Tracys future hopes and dreams for her only child.

As stated earlier, anything would be greatly appreciated, especially during a time like this!! We hope for nothing but health for you and yours!
