GREYBEARD: The Man, The Myth, The Mississippi
Donation protected
87-year-old Dale ‘Greybeard’ Sanders broke the Guinness World Record for the oldest human to paddle the entire Mississippi River from source to sea. Greybeard held this title previously in 2015, but was knocked off the podium in 2020. He has made his comeback to take the crown.. for the SECOND TIME! Greybeard began his journey on June 14th, 2022 (his 87th birthday) at the Mississippi headwaters in Itasca State Park, Minnesota, and finished 87 days later on September 8th, 2022 when the river met the Gulf of Mexico.
Zak, Alex, and Amy are all really excited to be a part of history in the making and rolling it all into "GREYBEARD: The Man, The Myth, The Mississippi." Projects like these are their passion and where they thrive. They all donated their time for production, but besides that, expenses added up quickly! Project expenses include lots and lots of travel, renting gear, food, hiring additional people for help when needed, and more. The expenses of this project are coming from out of pocket, and they needed your help! Now more than ever they need your help. Post-production has started and with a deadline, at the beginning of January, they have to put all their energy and time into editing which means giving up jobs that pay the bills. Please donate to our GoFundMe fundraiser. Without you, this project will be near impossible.
