Help finance "Grey Matter."

I'm writing & directing "Grey Matter," a short film based on the Stephen King story of the same name. This is one of King's "Dollar Baby" deals that allows a filmmaker to purchase the rights for one of his stories for a dollar.
However, I am not allowed to profit from the film, which means this will be a financial loss; and I'm prohibited from distributing either the script, or copies of the film, as incentives for fundraising or as partial payment to cast/crew. I also prefer practical FX to CG, and as such, will need to construct, or hire out, a few monster pieces.
I have long been a fan of King's work, and have always wanted to bring one of his stories to the screen. Now I have that opportunity, but I could use a bit of a financial boost. It is my hope that people who are passionate about film would be willing to contribute even a few dollars toward this project.
