Eagle Service Project - for Noah

My name is Mason. Noah Williams was one of my best friends. Noah and I met in the 7th grade and we clicked right away. We had a lot in common. Both of us are athletes and we had a lot of the same friends.
Hanging out with Noah was a gift; he was always available to listen and talk. Noah always knew the right thing to say. One of my favorite memories with Noah was when we worked out. He knew how to motivate and push you to reach your absolute best.
Looking back, I consider myself very lucky to have so many fun memories and experiences with my friend. We spent a lot of time talking about girls, sports, and what the future had planned for us. We spent even more time thinking of jokes and laughing together. Our group of friends spent a lot of time in each other’s homes, walking around Greatwood, and we even got to go on road trips.
I really miss those times. Losing Noah has been the hardest thing I have ever faced in my life. I am grateful to have support from my friends and the Williams family.
Noah was a positive role model, a good-hearted person, and was the most respectful and cheerful person I know. He put others before himself and cared so much for his loved ones. Noah’s life has affected not only mine, but so many people in our community. Therefore, for my Eagle Scout Service Project, I would like to dedicate it to my friend Noah.
I have been a scout since the 1st grade. The Boy Scouts program has helped me to develop many life skills. The Eagle Service Project is an important opportunity for me to show my leadership and other skills that I have learned. Some of these skills include planning, time management, budgeting and recruiting.
AND… this is where I need your help.
I am fundraising to purchase an engraved bench that will be placed at George Ranch High School. Your donations will go towards funding the bench, landscaping, supplies and materials needed for the installment. I have budgeted for $2,000. Any excess funds will go towards the Fallen Longhorn memorial fund.
