Grieving Dylan, Loving Ruby

On August 29th, the world lost Dylan Stanley. She was a leader, a friend, and a harm reductionist. But more than anything she was Ruby’s mother. 

Dylan fought hard for her life and she saved the lives of countless others. Faced with insurmountable obstacles she never lost sight of her daughter. She jumped through hoops every Monday to visit Ruby and was heartbroken not to be with her daily. 

As we grieve Dylan, we want Ruby to know how much her mother loved her and how hard she fought for her.

After paying for limited expenses for Dylan's memorial, all funds gathered will be held in an interest-bearing account for Ruby by her paternal Grandmother. These funds will be used to care for Ruby as she grows with all remaining funds given to her on her 20th birthday.

We can already see that Ruby has inherited her mother’s smile and her strength. These funds are just a small way for Dylan to continue to contribute to Ruby’s future.
