SON KILLED IN HIT AND RUN. NEED HELP WITH COSTS

Growing up I was blessed with a father who was really strict but even then he was perfect. He loved me and my siblings unconditionally and he did everything he could to sculpt us into Great Men with everything at our fingertips. I realize we made it hard sometimes as kids but he never gave up he just loved. So when I became a father I realized we sure made it hard. I wanted to give my son the world make sure that he was guided and protected and loved the way my father did me. I wanted to protect him from everything wrong in this world, and I wanted to see him grow old with children of his own. I wanted what any father wants for their son. It's what my dad wanted for me. And of all of the loving guidance and prayers every parent prays for their child my one and only child would be taken from me so fast and unexpected. My worst fear and nightmare is now a reality. I felt like I should have protected him I felt like I should have been there. But as all parents know that's impossible, now I have to learn to live with the fact that my one and only child is gone. Just before 5:00 a.m. on February 8th 2024 David was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 6th and Bryant Street in San Francisco California. He was the victim of a hit and run. The driver left my son there to die. I've tried hard to come to terms with the fact that I've received my last hug, heard my last I love you, and seen his last smile and it's been the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Now I'm focusing on trying to bury my child and handling the unexpected and overwhelming cost of services. So I'm reaching out and asking for help.
