Father & son NEED our help !!!!!! Thank you all

Our names are Kiiya & Tiffany. We are creating this fundraiser with hurting aching hearts to help michael cochrane and Davin cochrane with the cost of fuel , lawyer fees, hotel stay, food, rent , medical bills for Davin, as Davin has pulled through his many extensive brain surgeries which removed part of his brain! Davin is out of a coma which lasted for 2 weeks and is able to speak, get up by himself get into his wheel chair and walk with his walker, he cannot hear out of his left ear and the bullet did to much damage to his ear drum, Davin is an absolute miracle, but he has sooooooo many more months of therapy & recovery! Thankfully our prayers came through and he survived such a tragic incident! Davins father Michael was with him on the island for a month , and supported Davin and his family throughout the time , the money that has already currently been donated 2500 went to Davins girlfriend for her car and other essentials, davins girlfriend has stated she wants nothing more to do with this go fund me, so we have given her the amount stated and nothing further will go to her as she wanted her kids and picture off of here even tho she wanted us to have her on here in the first place. But that’s okay, we just need to make it clear she has received all fund that she was entitled to while connected with this go fund me. From what’s been currently donated Michael was left with 1300 dollars for his stay, he had to go back to grande prairie to maintain his home and make sure all was well there. Michael is still without a job and is going to be travelling back to the island to be beside his son through his long extensive physio therapy and recovery, Michael will need funds for hotel or air bnb stays, along with a rental vehicle as his Jeep will not make the long trip again, so he will be flying back to the island from grande prairie shortly but he needs to get a few more funds saved up as we all know this is costly!

Michael does not have a job now as he got the news late Tuesday night ( end of April ) around 1:35 am that his son was shot in the head! Michael panicked quickly and jumped in his car and drove down from grande prairie to be by his sons side after a horrific incident happened last night March 28th 2023.. michaels son Davin Cochrane, 31, was admitted to the intensive care unit of Victoria hospital clinging to life following a bizarre incident involving a skid steer and the rcmp , Davin had been in a car accident earlier that day and was in the cowichan valley hospital waiting to under go surgery for his fractured knee, Davin has a history of mental illness but Davin was given ketamine even tho the hospital knew of his issues in the past and should have kept a very close eye on Davin while he was waiting surgery to make sure he didn’t go anywhere will on said medication. As you know ketamine can cause hallucinations & not being able to make decisions that are rational ones . Instead davin some how left the hospital & Davins family was not contact to let them know he had left, nor were the police notified that he had left as we are sure this would have all turned out differently if family had been contacted and the hospital had made sure Davin had not left.

after Davin left, march 28th turned into a fathers worst fear. Michaels son was shot in the back of the head twice by Vancouver island police and was rushed to Victoria general hospital where Davin under went a series of surgery to have part of his brain removed to release the pressure in his brain and stop the uncontrollable bleeding that had been continuing from the time he was shot three times till he got to the hospital, he is now on life support, holding on for dear life and we are praying that some how some way he pulls through we and many others are absolutely devastated and confused as to why these police officers needed to take the force of firing there weapon 6 times when he was not even around any people and made his way to a soccer field and gravel parking lot where again nobody was. Davin was not harming anyone nor was he ramming into the cop cars as they have said. We are making this in hopes you can find it in your heart to help this poor father out as he has had to use his rent money to get him to the island & doesn't have much to get him through , nothing at all really, He is an amazing man and so is his son Davin , he did not deserve this what so ever . These donations are to help Davin with all his medical needs & everything else that comes with these horrific situations. . We really appreciate you taking the time to read this, this family needs our help, if you can even donate 1 dollar , everything helps. We are unsure if Davin will make it out of this, if it comes down to a funeral which we pray it will not, Michael does not have the means to bury his son and is completely beside himself. We put ourselves in his situation and we cannot imagine going through this horrific experience. Kids are not suppose to go before their parents. I have no words.
