Grieving Mothers Retreat

As a woman who has experienced the loss of two children, I personally understand how difficult it is to move forward. After losing children, you learn how to wear a mask. The "mask" is pretending that everything is okay so that others won't feel uncomfortable around you. The "mask" is going throughout the day merely existing instead of truly living.

I planned this retreat for grieving mothers because we need a break. We need a safe space to show our true emotions without others becoming uncomfortable or telling us to "stop crying". This retreat will be an opportunity for us to remove the mask, let down our guards, and openly express ourselves in the presence of others who understand. 

I'm asking for donations because some mothers have a strong desire to attend this retreat, but don't have the financial means. All donations will be used to curtail hotel accommodations, travel expenses, and other activities that will take place during the retreat. 

The retreat will take place June 22-24, 2018 in Stone Mountain, Ga at a beautiful resort. Your donation will mean a lot to me as well as the women who will attend. Every penny will go towards helping a deserving mother comfortably attend the retreat!
