Donate to help Grif play for Team Hungary Lacrosse

Griffin recently tried out and was offered a spot on the Hungarian National Box Lacrosse team. As many of you know, Laszlo, his dad immigrated to the US when he was just 10 years old. To have Griffin be able to play a sport at such a high level is an incredible experience but comes at an incredible high cost as well. The team will be competing at the Box Lacrosse World Championships being held in Utica New York in September. For 10 days Grif will get to play with other Hungarian lacrosse members and against teams from Australia, Puerto Rico and Slovakia as well as several other additional countries. The hope is that this opportunity will lead to other international play including the potential for the Olympics.
As an amateur athlete and lacrosse being an underrecognized sport there is little opportunity for sponsorships and pay. Griffin will be working, while also continuing to train at a high level and will be heading off to college in August at Ohio Northern where he will continue playing lacrosse. As a Sports Management student, Grif, will also be seeking out learning experiences through this whole process. But first he will complete his senior season with Norwin High School lacrosse and continue being a mentor in the Pittsburgh area through refereeing and coaching club lacrosse.
The support from friends, family and lacrosse acquaintances through this go fund me will help Grif continue to focus and achieve these goals. We appreciate all your support in any way!
