Agent Griner's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On the morning of June 14, 2017, a gunman opened fire at a practice for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. United States Capitol Police Dignitary Protection Agents immediately took action, and with the help of Alexandria Police, engaged and stopped the shooter. Special Agent Crystal Griner was struck during the attack.
Crystal is receiving excellent medical care and continued support from her Agency, but the long road to recovery will result in significant expense.
We hope that you will consider sharing this page and making a donation to support Agent Griner and her family during this time.
Crystal is a friend, classmate and co-worker, the funds that are raised will be distributed directly to her family to use as necessary via electronic wire transfer or paper check. We will update this page over the coming weeks as her recovery progresses.
Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the organizer.
