Snow Sports Maintenance Building

Tax deductible

The Park Ski Area at Living Memorial Park in Brattleboro has been completely operated by volunteer staff since 1997. Our mission is to provide affordable and safe winter activities for our local youth by promoting one of Vermont's most popular sports. By offering a $5 lift ticket for anyone over the age of 5, it makes skiing convenient and  affordable for all age groups. We are seeking donations to construct a maintenance building for us, that will be our primary storage for a lot of very expensive equipment we own, and will also remove it from the weather and vandalism of being outdoors. We are a non-profit, so all income received during our operating months helps to pay our bills. By allowing our grooming and snow making equipment to live indoors, it will allow us to perform service on it in a warm environment, rather than the brisk wind and snow our Vermont winters have to offer. Having a sense of security for the property we have worked hard to own will also be a huge advantage.  We have been in the market to construct a building for a long time and it's time we move forward. LMPSS would like to begin construction of this building as soon as both funds and permits become available. I have served on the Ski Area's Board of Director's for 7 years, and have served as Secretary for the past year. I am coordinating the construction of a Maintenance Building, and call upon our local and greater community for help in making this happen. We cannot continue to operate without the continued support of our volunteers and our community.
