Groots medical expenses

On Thursday night Groot went to go jump on the couch and suffered from a major herniated disc in his neck, paralyzing him instantly. He was rushed to the emergency hospital where they performed emergency surgery the next morning.

Groot is still paralyzed and the only mobility is in his head. We received an update this morning 8/21 and he is doing ok. He has feeling and minor minor movement in all four limbs. Groot is not out of the woods yet, there is still caution of respiratory infection happening because the airways in French bulldogs are so compromised already.

We haven’t been given a date on when Groot will be able to come home but when he does, life will look a lot different for us.

On top of the medical expenses we will have to change the layout of our home to make it safe and functional for him.

There is a long journey ahead of us and ANY donation will help us greatly.
