Growing my hair for Cancer!
I'm raising money in aid of Cancer Council Australia and every donation will help.
Earlier this year I decided to grow my hair for 12 months to raise money for charity, however I have had to bring the cut date forward a little bit so I don't look like a mop at my mates wedding!
On 17th April 2023 I had my last hair cut and I am nearly 7 months in (it's starting to drive me nuts). On Saturday 17th February 2024 I will shave my hair for the Cancer Council (this will allow enough time for hair to grow back). Between now and then I will supply monthly hair growth photos.
Cancer Support and Research is dear to my heart. Cancer impacted my life at a young age. At the age of 5 I lost my mum to a 3 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. This obviously changed my life and the lives of many around me.
As I have registered through Go Fund Me (Charity) all money raised will be directly deposited to the Cancer Council and the receipt you are issued is tax deductible.
Every amount donated, whether small or large, will make a difference to the Cancer Council.
More information about Cancer Council Australia: Cancer Council is Australia's leading non-government cancer charity, and the only charity that works across every aspect of every cancer, from research to prevention and support.
Our vision is a cancer free future. Every day, we work tirelessly to support people affected by cancer when they need it most - by speaking out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empowering people to reduce their cancer risk, and finding new ways to better detect and treat cancer.
