Growing Warrior Songs
Tax deductible
Over the past 10 years, Warrior Songs has grown from Jason Moon's humble mission of playing music for veterans anytime, anywhere to a accredited non-profit that hosts 2 healing arts retreats each year, creates fully produced albums amplifying diverse veteran voices and educates the public through presentations. Warrior Songs is a little non-profit that does big things on a very small budget. All of the work that occurs at Warrior Songs is done by volunteers and individuals paid very small stipends which are not reflective of their time and talents.
Warrior Songs is growing, but needs to be able to bring on more staff to keep up with the demand. We have people that we would like to bring on a part-time capacity to start and then through grant funding be able to offer full-time employment.
Our goal is to hire a grant writer and education program manager to continue songwriting and arts programming with veterans and providing essential healing through our retreats.
Take it from me, Jason can't run this thing alone. As Jason's partner for 13 years, I've seen him try. I've watched him sweat for every dollar it takes to produce a Story to Song Project or retreat through crowd source funding, donations, playing shows, etc. Now that Warrior Songs is growing, he can't do it alone. Our amazing team at Warrior Songs needs to be compensated for the great work they are doing.
A donation today means a veteran's story on the Veterans of Color complication is recorded and produced in a music studio.
A donation today means a veteran is able to participate at no cost in a Healing Arts Retreat.
A donation today means a veteran attends a PTSD Educational Performance and finds a community to know they are not alone.
More information about Warrior Songs Inc.: Warrior Songs Inc. is a non-profit organization which brings hope and healing to veterans through the creative arts. Through a variety of programs, Warrior Songs uses the arts to assist veterans and civilians to better understand the war experience.
