GRUB FOR GUARDIAN'S MISSION
Support our frontline healthcare workers with a free meal from NYC’s Chef community.
Join New York City chefs in giving healthcare workers a locally-cooked, free meal to enjoy at the end of their long days battling coronavirus.
Our mission is to connect New Yorkers from different communities to provide an easy, yet impactful service to those in our neighborhoods who are fighting Covid-19 on the frontlines. With all of your support, we will give local, fresh, free meals to doctors, nurses, and all other medical support staff.
It's our small way of saying thank you, and we appreciate you.
WHAT YOUR MONEY WILL PROVIDE
We will be featuring incredible chefs from throughout the five boroughs. Each chef will aim to prep about 100 meals per day.
The goal is to keep the cost of 1 meal under $3. Donate $10 and feed 3 healthcare heroes!
To be transparent, we will be posting invoices and receipts on our Wordpress site (coming soon) and on our social media channels.
WHO WE ARE
After coming across a story of tech entrepreneurs donating food to hospitals around the world, Arjun Sahgal approached his friend and NYC chef Nate Kuester about getting involved. They wanted to join together the tech and food communities to give back to our local healthcare workers, our guardians. They approached Mike Frank, working in the marketing/startup space, and Drew Dengler and Connor Benoit, who both work in finance.
Together, they decided to create Grub for Guardians, an initiative focused on providing free meals to medical employees around the five boroughs. Now, we need your help.
