Grubbs Family House Fire Relief
Donation protected
Dylan + Courtney Grubbs have started a fundraiser to help fulfill the needs of Dylan's brother and family, who just lost their home and most of their possessions in a house fire. Many people have come through to fulfill their clothing and food needs already. They are currently staying in the St. Vincent house in Indianapolis while their 5 year old son Tyler receives treatment for injuries and burns sustained in the fire.
The most pressing physical needs for the moment are housing and transportation. Traver's moped that he uses to commute to work was destroyed in the fire, so we would like to first raise money to replace that, so that he can continue to make money to support his family during this most difficult time. I have set the initial goal at $3,000 to cover that.
Immediately after they are dismissed from the hospital, they have arrangements to stay in a family members living room. They will need to find another house or apartment to live in as soon as possible however, so we will increase our fundraising goal at some point to cover as much of that as is possible.
More than anything, we appreciate prayers for everyone involved. We are thankful for God's providence in this instance, as we know it could have been much worse. Tyler is expected to make a full recovery given enough time for his body to rest and rejuvenate. I will give more details and updates on the situation as it progresses.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who is willing to pray, donate and support us all during this time!
