G’s 2nd Fight Against Cancer

Family and friends,

The last day of November we got confirmation that moms cancer is back, except in a different location. She has over a 2 cm tumor in the pelvic wall, as the biopsy determined. The last 3 months she’s gone through scans and a biopsy, so the medical bills are starting to get big again. Because of the previous cancer surgery she had, the surgeon reached out to colleagues that specialize in this kind of surgery at The University of Minnesota. After collaboration between her Iowa surgeons and the surgeons at UMN, it was decided we have to go to UMN due to the complexity of mom’s case. We will have at least 3-4 trips to Minnesota for consultations and surgery, Which comes with the added expenses of food, gas and potentially hotel stays; not to mention their normal bills and her having to be on disability while recovering from yet another major surgery.

No one in this family fights alone, and she will get through this again. We are asking if you can help in any way, be that praying, donating to help alleviate the financial stress, or even sharing her page, it would be greatly appreciated. We need her focused on herself, and not the stresses of the financial burden.
