A Helping Hand for Sylvia

This is Sylvia (and her awesome son, Marcus).  She is a single mother, an amazing friend, a loving caregiver and a courageous fighter.   Those who know Sylvia know she is a pillar of strength, determination and integrity.  What you may not know is she has been struggling with health issues for some time.  Sylvia has pancreatic cancer that has spread to her reproductive organs.  She recently learned she will require two surgeries.  The first, a robotic hysterectomy, has been scheduled for November 24 and will be performed at The James.  She will need several weeks to recover but because she is self-employed, has already endured other health challenges and has bills to pay she won’t be able to take off as much time as her body will need unless she receives some help.  (The success of the first surgery will determine if and when the second surgery will take place.)  Although Sylvia hasn't asked, we can help alleviate some of the financial stress that goes along with any health crisis which would allow her to focus on the ever important job of healing.  Any and all contributions will be greatly, greatly appreciated. Please, let’s show Sylvia she is not alone!
