Help Ashton Beat Cancer!

Hi everyone,

My name is Melissa & I am a close friend & colleague of Officer Crystal Manzi. Her 11 month old son, Ashton, received the diagnosis no parent ever wants to hear - cancer. They are at Boston Children’s Hospital and awaiting their biopsy results. Ashton had his first blood transfusion today, and is slated to start chemo treatments in the next couple of days.

Due to this heartbreaking news, Crystal will be out of work for the foreseeable future to make sure she can be there for Ashton as needed. Her husband Chris will also have to cut down on his hours to care for their 8 year old daughter, Adriana, and make the trip to Boston as needed. Crystal’s income will not only significantly suffer, but their family will endure countless additional expenses, including but not limited to medical expenses not covered by insurance, gas, food, lodging, parking, care for their dog, etc.
