At Winwick, the school and the staff always give 100% to ensure that the children that attend the school receive the best education and experience possible.
Whether this is in the classroom, during school trips or even at lunchtime in the dining hall.
The children's well being is at the heart of the school and fundraising for charity and other areas is a key part of the schools ethos.
As we are aware schools only receive small funding pots to be able to buy materials such as stationary, books and ICT equipment and to also improve the school building. Winwick Primary school always wants to improve on what they can offer our children.
The children's views and opinions are carefully given through school council meetings, pupil and parental surveys.
From multiple surveys given to the children one of the top areas that they identified as something that could be improved is the toilet facilities within the school. This is something that the school would really really like to develop in the next year and they have asked if the PTFA could do some fundraising to help this to happen.
Having access to high quality toilet facilities is crucial to a pupils health and well being. It is known that it can have a positive influence on pupils willingness and ability to learn , their behaviour, morale and attendance levels.
This is where we need your help! Without the PTFA and community fundraising events, these kinds of changes cannot take place. The school and the children would be extremely grateful if you could support their wishes to improve these facilities.
Please support our Winwick to Lapland challenge by spreading the word and help to raise the funds for these changes to happen in the school.
