Let’s help Gary out of his tent before winter

Our lovely big issue seller Gary Phillips is currently living in a tent, because he lost his flat two months ago. He couldn’t pay his rent because of COVID, so he felt he had to leave. He chose to do this because he felt it wasn’t fair on the owners. He’s been selling the Big Issue all over the country since 1993, but is now settled in Saltburn and has been here for three years.  He grew up in children’s homes and at age 16 was placed in a bedsit and left to get on with it. He’s now 45, and is a lovely man with a smile for everyone!
We’d like to raise enough to fund a month’s rent for Gary.
