Bring Karis Home
Donation protected
Hello everyone. We are on a mission to bring Karis home to our family in America. It has always been on our hearts to help the abandoned, the orphaned, and the needy. After having three beautiful biological children, we sought to fulfill our calling by adopting Karis from China. We have covered the adoption costs (most of them…still have a maxed out credit card), and now we are reaching out for support for just the travel costs to go get her and bring her back. We are going through Lifeline Children’s Services, and they estimate the total travel costs to be $19,022.00. China mandates that foreign adopting couples spend two weeks in country and partake in cultural immersion.
We expect to travel to China in 4-8 weeks to pick up Karis and bring her home!
Once back in the US, Karis will have years of surgeries and therapy, but we are hopeful for her to have a blessed, normal life in a loving environment. We are only asking for support to fund our trip to China to bring her home. We will continue to work to provide for her medical needs and to pay off the debt from the adoption agency (what we refer to as her “ransom” money to rescue her).

America was fortunate to be able to abandon their orphanage system shortly after WWII, but they still exist in most of the world, including China. Children who are not adopted face “aging-out” and will be kicked out onto the streets at the age of 14. Boys are recruited by gangs and face a life of crime. Girls are bought and sold as sex slaves.
These children need our help. We are excited to lovingly bring Karis into our family, but there are still millions that need a home.

Any gift, great or small, will be greatly appreciated.
