HELP AHMAD GET HIS VISA
Donation protected
Ahmad Mbonde is a vibrant presence in the streets of Shreveport, Louisiana, ministering to the poor and homeless despite being homeless himself. Ahmad was born in Tanzania to a diplomat and later lived abroad in Japan and India before returning to Tanzania to attend college. He always dreamed of moving to the United States, so in 1999 he moved to Texas to work in the electronics industry before moving to Louisiana to get married.
After dealing with financial and marital issues over the past few years, Ahmad found himself on the streets. While sleeping in an abandoned building one night, God gave him a vision for his life. That vision involved helping and ministering to people in the street.
Ever since, Ahmad has been present in the Lovewell Center and on the streets as a comfort and prayer partner to everyone he meets. In his words it is important to "take it one day at a time" and "count it all joy".
As Ahmad is serving others, we want to serve him. In order to seek employment, Ahmad needs to renew his visa and get on his feet with housing, which will cost about $3000. At The Hub, we are passionate about empowering people to do what God has called them to do, and helping Ahmad get his visa is doing just that.
Thank you so much for giving to The Hub Urban Ministries! It is through partnerships with people like you that we are able to support people like Ahmad. Every dollar you give to our ministry is a small part of changing lives in our city.
Thank you from Ahmad, The Hub: Urban Ministries staff, and the many other lives that your giving will touch. Please visit www.thehubministry.com for more information.
