GUANAJA FIRE VICTIMS AIDE CAMPAIGN

Want to join me in making a difference? Hondurans Against AIDS Inc, is raising money to help the victims of the Gauanaja Island Fire and any donation will help make an impact.

Saturday, October 2,  2021, a ravaging fire destroyed or damaged more than 200 homes in the picturesque Honduran Caribbean island of Guanaja. (44 miles of the north coast of main land). Residents awoke to the raging fire that was engulfing their homes and businesses early in the morning. This is just another major catastrophe to affect the Honduran population in recent months. Many of the residents of Guanaja were forced to flee the island and the comfort of their homes to seek refuge elsewhere. While others stayed to face the devastation without adequate shelter, food or clothing to sustain them while they figure out what’s their next move. 

The victims of the Guanaja fire are in imminent need of clothing, medicine, personal hygiene products, blankets and places to sleep. We are seeking donations to help in the effort of restoring a sense of normalcy.

Many of us don’t think about what happens when the fire trucks are gone and the fire has been contained. We, the members of Hondurans Against AIDS, Inc. are committed to service and are seeking your donation and support to help us help our people in in their time of need. Your donations will be used to buh and distribute food, prescription medicine, eyeglasses, personal hygiene products, blankets, school supplies and items for children. 

Your desire to help is key to motivation and your commitment will bear great rewards. Make the difference in the lives of a fire victim. The memories of a fire can be the one memory a victim can relive over and over again and it can render an individual powerless in their own despair.
