Save The Tiltyard!
Donation protected
After nearly 30 years of racing, the Tiltyard could be in jeopardy of closing after the 2019 season. Why? Our beloved friend and neighbor Judy, who was a supporter of our efforts, has passed away. Ms. Curry was a great friend and neighbor giving permission for our special use permit and also allowing us to intrude on some of her property during race weekends.
Upon Ms. Curry's death, her family has decided to sell this property at auction. We NEED to purchase it. ONLY by purchasing it can we ensure the Tiltyard's future.
If we are unable to acquire this property, we risk having the new owners not be so generous with land use and they could make complaints to the county regarding the race track. This may or may not cause the county to revoke our permit thus ending the Tiltyard permanently. The county could also require us to re-file for a new permit, which may or may not be approved.
By owning this property, this completely resolves this issue. Not only will it give us more space, it also gives us a new right away into our existing property. You'll see the picture of our property now. Ms. Curry's property actually extends to the side of the house and the side of the track! As I mentioned before, she was gracious and allowed us to intrude on her property during race weekends.
Many of you have supported the Tiltyard over the years and your patronage and support have meant the world to us. We know this is a big ask. But we have no other options here. Please help. No amount is too small. Even small amounts will add up!
Attention racers - if you assist, we will reimburse your donation through future race entry fees. Consider it pre-payment to race at future events at the Tiltyard.
TIME is of the essence. We anticipate the sell within the next 30-45 days.
Lastly, if you cannot help by donating but still want to help, please consider buying t-shirts, or phone cases, or some of our other products.
In any case, thank you for your time and consideration. Please keep us in your prayers.
