Guardian Angel Day Fund
Donation protected
On July 31st 2021, God welcomed our son Thomas John Conway into his loving arms. In remembrance of Thomas, we would like to invite friends and family to consider donating to the Guardian Angel Day Fund. All funds received will go towards supporting other families with a child/children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). No amount is too small! Please consider donating AND/OR please share the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/guardian-angel-day-fund
Thomas and his twin sister Gynn were born very unexpectedly at 25 weeks. The delivery was sudden and emergent. My son underwent CPR immediately after delivery and was quickly transferred to the NICU. While in the NICU, Thomas had many ups and downs, meanwhile our daughter Gynn mostly thrived. It was a very surreal experience to have two precious babies, both so fragile but with very different obstacles to overcome. We were both hopeful and heartbroken all at once. After 5 weeks in the NICU, Thomas experienced bilateral kidney failure and subsequently passed. Words can not describe the sorrow and pain we experienced with our son’s passing. Despite our loss, we believe that God is exceedingly loving, merciful, and faithful to his promise to bring good of all things. Because of this, we choose to focus on celebrating our son, his life, and God’s love on the day of his passing, July 31st; known now to our family as Guardian Angel Day.
Having a child in the NICU, despite how long or brief is very difficult. During our time in the NICU (117 days) we were fortunate to receive an outpour of support and love from our family, friends, church, and coworkers. We want to give back to others in need and would appreciate any support you are willing to offer. Thank you for your consideration!
