International Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established by Shin Koyamada and Nia Lyte in Los Angeles, CA in 2008, with its main focus to inspire youth and women to achieve their dreams and aid for natural disasters. KIF has yearly helped thousands of youth and women through its cross-cultural, educational and sports programs and has successfully raised relief funds and shipped relief goods to aid victims of natural disasters, including the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

The mission of Guardian Girls Togo project is to build the self-agency of women and girls for prevention and response to all forms of Gender-Based Violence through sports and holistic martial arts training and skills acquisition.
To empower girls and young women to defend themselves from all forms of GBV (sexual, physical, emotional, harmful practices, economic abuse, and trafficking).
EEMBLEM:
Guardian Angel wings symbolize love, peace, protection and freedom. A shield provides defense against a particular danger or risk, providing protection from it. A sword represents respect and honor. A "GG" is the initials of Guardian Girls.
To prevent gender-based violence directed at girls and women in Togo and empower them with the tools to enhance their skills, mental well-being, and overall quality of life through both soft and hard skills through the Guardian Girls Togo program.

OBJECTIVES:

1) To strengthen the capacity of young women and girls to prevent and protect themselves from all forms of Gender Based Violence including harmful practices in Togo.

2) To enhance the life skills and mental health of young girls and women through sports, holistic martial arts training and mentorship and entrepreneurship.


3) To strengthen the participation of communities in urban and rural informal settlements in ensuring the safety and well-being of young women and girls in Togo.

The funds will be used too organise the events as follows:

1. Guardian Girls Forum Togo – in TBD (two days)
- 1st day: “Press Conference for the Launching of Guardian Girls program Togo at Conference hall of Agora Senghor.

- 2 – 5 days: “Guardian Girls Self-Defense program” in five districts of Togo, which include Golf District 2, Agoenyive district 1, Golf District 3, Zio District 1 and Zio District 2.

3 International Day of The Girl Child, 2024
- Side Event: “Guardian Girls sensibiliation young girls on their right ” & “Self-Defense activities”
4 Guardian Girls Togo – Excursion to Sarakawa National Park and Water fall of Kpime, Kpalime.
