Guardian of Defenders Memorial, Dare We Forget!
Tax deductible
Dear American Patriot,
THEY DID NOT FORGET! We who fought or served by their side did NOT FORGET! Please tell us that you also will NOT FORGET! PLEASE HELP US TO HONOR THEM!
On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 the worst terrorist attack in our history came to our homeland. We were attacked by enemies who despise our God-given freedoms. Nearly 3,000 people were killed, and we all promised that
WE WOULD NEVER FORGET!
Since then, so many more have laid down their lives to defend our nation against terrorism. Many of them were already serving but they were soon joined by so many more who volunteered to serve in the defense of our nation because of the September 11, 2001 attack.
They served! We served them! We loved them! We suffered with them! We wept with them! And we now remember with them! We are two chaplains (Army & Navy) who comforted the dying, anointed the wounded and comforted the grieving! Each night we fell asleep in tears and woke up each day to wipe the tears of those who were weeping and looking to us for help!
It was unacceptable to us that the ones who all of us loved----all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice --- should be remembered only by us, their brothers and sisters in combat, who had only a few hours in the midst of the war zone to honor them with a Memorial Service. We want more! We need more! They deserve more! We want a Memorial to honor them – a Memorial to which we can come for the healing of our broken hearts and crushed souls. We know that you do too!
They told us we had to wait until the Global War on Terrorism was over to honor them with a Memorial. We strongly disagreed! We therefore decided to build a Memorial to their memory, because we desperately needed to honor them. Our souls will remain eternally wounded if their souls are not honored, remembered and celebrated!
So, since 2009 we dedicated our efforts to creating The Guardian of Defenders Memorial! We have made personal financial sacrifices to make this vision come true. Will you join us to make it happen? Will you also make a sacrifice?
Please go to our Web Page (http://www.GuardianOfDefenders.com) to review the images of the proposed memorial and the historic location where it will be placed. We are sure that all of our fellow Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen who served will welcome and support this Monument to our brothers and sisters who “Gave All!”
A description of the Memorial and photos of the plans can be also found there, as well as, the meaning of all the elements of the Memorial. Will you please help us to realize this vision. Will you please help us honor our fallen brothers and sisters in arms who laid down their lives for American Freedom.
No amount is too small. We are offering special gifts for all who contribute which you can also find on the Webpage. Please go to our fundraising page and make a donation. The Guardian Of Defenders Memorial will be dedicated on September 11, 2019!
Remember THEM and we will continue to remember you. You are
on our minds,
in our hearts,
in our prayers!
