Guardianship of Shaley

My name is Shannon Schmitt. My husband and I are trying to get guardianship of our grandaughter Shaley. My husband is on disability and I work for a school district so I don't have to tell you money is tight' on top of raising a 6 year old. We would really like to get guardianship so that things are stable for Shaley. She has lived with us for the last year and a half and wants to stay here. Normally I wouldnt ask for help but I feel we need this for stability. Thanks for any help you can give.
