Guatemala Women's Health Clinic Mission Trip 2022

Hi everyone! For those who don't know, my sister-in-law Brittany Stork and I are going on a mission trip to Guatemala to help support a Women's Health Clinic. The non-profit organization we are going through is Project Salud y Paz, International Hands in Service.

Family practice physicians in Guatemala typically do not provide preventative women’s healthcare services, but women are referred to gynecologists for this, often too late after they are already symptomatic. There is less than one doctor per 1,000 people. In Guatemala, 54% of the population lives below the poverty line, with 13% of the population living in extreme poverty.

We humbly ask you to try and support us financially as we take this journey. If you cannot, we also appreciate your thoughts and prayer. We are genuinely moved to have the opportunity to help so many women and the potential to save lives. Our trip is from 11/12/22-11/20/22.
