Cancer sucks!

Hey all my name is Keisha. I’m a mother of 2 amazing girls! Gabby (20) and Grace (8). On March 8, 2024, I was diagnosed with a common and aggressive form of breast cancer. At 42 years old, I didn’t think this diagnosis was possible. Sometimes I hope I’m just dreaming and I’ll wake up. I need to have 6 months of chemotherapy to treat the cancer.

Financially I am not prepared for this journey. I need 4 new tires for my car, I need money for gas, and parking . I will go to chemo once a week for the first 3 months. Parking is not free at Abbott Northwestern.

also i’m trying very hard to stay positive and stay strong. I don’t feel sick now, so I don’t think it’s sinking in. I think it will wont to start losing my hair.
