We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support of Guiding Arrow Nature Camp and Healing Retreat. Guiding Arrow is a 501c3-approved, non-profit organization located in the heart of Virginia's beautiful countryside, dedicated to providing children and families with a transformative experience in nature.

Our regenerative farm and retreat center offers healing camp weeks for children struggling with anxiety, depression, autism, and other concerns. Our programs are designed to empower children with the skills and tools they need to thrive in today's world.

At Guiding Arrow, we believe that spending time in nature is one of the most powerful ways to heal, grow, and connect with each other. Our programs help children develop a sense of connection with the natural world, build self-esteem and confidence, and develop critical life skills that will serve them for years to come.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help to continue to grow and expand our programs, to reach more children and families, and to continue to offer this transformative experience in nature. Your donation today will go directly towards the purchase of land and providing scholarships for families in need.

We believe it is imperative, now more than ever, for children and families to be provided with a safe space to be who they are and thrive. We welcome children and young adults to come to Guiding Arrow as they are, and we will honor and support them in their unique talents and abilities. Campers will learn basic life skills like gardening, cooking, woodworking, foraging, animal caretaking, building, emotional intelligence skills, and mindfulness. Each activity at Guiding Arrow is specifically designed to build confidence, create a sense of community, and heal hearts.

We are Jayson and Megan Smith, parents of six children, two of whom are on the Autism Spectrum. We have long been passionate about raising our children as kind-hearted, open-minded, self-sufficient individuals. Megan has been working for ten years as an Emotion Code practitioner and emotional wellness coach, supporting families and children. It is now our mission to expand the love and skills we have taught our own children into the local community.

 

Nestled in the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia, we know how healing nature is especially in these times of high stress and high distractibility. Children will leave camp rested, restored, nurtured, loved, accepted and empowered.
