Guildford College Community Garden

Hello everyone, I'm Tim, a tutor in the LLDD department at Guildford College. Over the past year, I've taken on the exciting challenge of spearheading the creation and maintenance of a vibrant community garden right here at the heart of the college. But I haven't been working alone in this endeavour. The GCCG (Guildford College Community Garden) gardeners, a diverse group of learners with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, have played a pivotal role in transforming this once-underutilised space. They embody the spirit of friendship and community, highlighting the importance of accessible green spaces for all.

While I've been happy to contribute funding thus far, we're at a point where we need additional support to ensure the garden's success. That's where we need your help. Your generous donations will help us purchase soil, plants, fruit and vegetable seeds, tools, and other essential gardening supplies.
