Guilford Softball Goes to Regionals

Guilford Little League was founded in 1950. On Saturday, July 22, 2023, our U8-U10 amazing young women became the FIRST SOFTBALL team in the history of Guilford Little League to secure a state championship .

This means that our players will progress to the Eastern Regional Tournament, during which they will face teams from Vermont to Maryland. This tournament is the last stop for this age group. Our girls (and families) have gotten here through determination, dedication, hard work, and sacrifice. In order to continue on to the tournament and represent the entire state of Connecticut, families will have to pay thousands of dollars and unexpectedly take off time from work.

Guilford Little League, a nonprofit, is seeking donations to help these families offset these unexpected costs and represent Guilford at the highest level of softball play this country has to offer in their age bracket.

This is a very very rare accomplishment - any donation you can offer, no matter how small helps. Let's show these girls that we're behind them and thank you for your support!
