Guillain Barre and C section Medical Bills

On March 2023, my husband was taken to the hospital for feeling numbness and tingling on his feet. After staying with him at the emergency for many hours we were told to stay over night for more further tests. I was 29 week pregnant during this time and decided to drive home that night to get changed and grab our chargers.

On my way home, a car ran a red light and T-bone me. I was rushed to the hospital as a patient and roomed next door to my husband.

On the same night, my husband was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome and in a matter of just 3 days, lost mobility on his whole body including his breathing. He was intubated and in a medical induce coma. He became completely paralyzed and couldn’t move from the eyes down. My husband was ultimately trached (hole on the neck to assist with breathing) and peg (hole in to stomach for food feeding)

In the other hand, I was moved to labor and delivery room and intubated to get my baby out because of the placenta abruption due to the car accident. My baby was born 29 weeks and had to stay in the NICU for about 2 months.

My Husband and I medical journey had been really rough especially when we weren’t able to work and provide for our 4 kids at home plus the one at the NICU. My husband is now improving and is in rehabilitation while I’m recovering from the c-section/accident. The medical conditions caused us to unable to work and support our kids. Any little help that we can get will he greatly appreciated!
