Guinevere the Donkey needs our help

Our sweet little diva Guinevere, our knight in whining armor is sick and is in intensive care with the amazing doctors at UGA Veterinary teaching hospital.

Her current diagnosis is pneumonia, but she is also undergoing testing for elevated heart rate. The current estimate for her care if all goes according to plan, is about $3850. They have reassured us that she is a well cared-for, well-behaved and and happy donkey, and that this was most likely not preventable.

Guinevere was born in 2016 and joined our herd in 2017. She travels the city of Atlanta with our girl goats keeping them safe and sounding the alarm if anything goes wrong. She is sweet and sassy, our little donkey diva. She loves getting apples and carrots as treats and when she’s REALLY happy, she runs around and rolls in the dirty with her legs in the air.

This has been a tough year financially, as we have tried to maintain prices and keep our services affordable, despite about a 20% increase in operating costs. We are incredibly grateful for any help we can get in making it possible to give our sweet Gwen the best care possible.
