Gulf Shores 10U All Star Baseball Team

The 2023 Gulf Shores 10U All Star baseball team is composed of an amazing group of 12 young men who were selected from the spring recreational baseball league in Gulf Shores, AL, and is managed by four coaches, all of whom have sons playing on the team. Nicknamed the "Beach Bums", the team has performed very well in the summer All Star season so far. The Beach Bums played in two Warmup Tournaments in Bay Minette, AL on May 26-28 and June 2-4, finishing in 2nd place in the latter. After initally losing their first game in the District tournament, the Beach Bums came back to WIN their District championship in Grand Bay, AL on June 9-11, and advanced to the Alabama State tournament in Florence, AL on June 30 - July 2 where they placed 4th overall in the championship bracket. Success at the district and state level has earned the Beach Bums an invitation to participate in the Regional tournament in Mobile, AL on July 14-17, featuring teams from as far away as Arizona! Continued success at the regional level could potentially lead to the Cal Ripken World Series in Crown Point, IN on August 5-13.

All of this baseball is EXPENSIVE! We need help from generous donors to cover the costs of uniforms, hats, baseballs, equipment, travel, sports drinks, and tournament entry fees. Every dollar raised will go to the costs associated with helping these young men pursue their dreams of success on the baseball field at the highest levels of their sport!
