Gumyf's Story and his £7000 surgery

Kostek, or more lovingly known as Gumyf, was attacked on Monday morning 6/1/25. As many dogs do, he has such a special bond with his owner Ewelina. Ewelina has raised him since birth when her sister's dog had a litter of puppies. Ewelina is currently 6 months pregnant and expecting in April. She is also due to tie the knot with her fiancé in February. Gumyf's future is in the hands of the professionals and is uncertain at this point.

Our dear friend and co-worker, Ewelina, has been given the sum of £7000 for an emergency vet bill/surgery, due to an unfortunate, brutal and vicious attack from an unleashed and unattended, aggressive dog. He is now in a critical condition at the emergency vet, in Taverham. The attack left Gumyf unresponsive and bleeding when he arrived at the vets on Monday morning. Upon investigation and many scans, it has now come to light Gumyf's abdominal wall has ruptured, causing internal bleeding. His urethra has been torn off and blood flow to this testicles has been damaged. His back leg no longer supports his weight due to nerve damage. Part of Gumyf's pancreas has had to be removed, and his bladder has been forced outside of his abdomen.
