Please Help Gunes Fight SMA and Recover from Earthquake Gunes is a one year old baby who has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic disease that affects the muscles used for movement. The recent earthquake has made things worse for Gunes and her family. They lost family members and their house. Gunes's family raising funds to help Gunes get the treatment she needs to fight SMA.
