Hello everybody,

I am going to record a swinging album "GUNHILD CARLING with BIG BAND and STRINGS"!

Cool arrangements in classic style by some of the best arrangers.

We are renting a famous studio in Los Angeles (Frank Sinatra and Barbara Streisand recorded some of their biggest hits there!), and we've got the greatest jazz musicians anywhere. I'm thrilled, but it all is very expensive. Please, Help me with my dream. Every donation helps!

I'll be singing, playing trumpet, Trombone, recorder, harmonica and even tap dance on the album. We will record 11 of my originals, se below.

Michael Andrew is producing the album; he produced all of the music played by Desi Arnaz's Big Band in the 2021 feature biopic film, BEING THE RICARDOS (Starring Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman, directed by Aaron Sorkin).

We've contracted some of the best session musicians in Los Angeles to form our "All Star Big Band." Our Saxophone section includes Mark Visher, Danny House, Dan Kaneyuki, Dan Boissy, and Ceasar Martinez. Our Trumpets are Michael Stever, Jamie Hovorka, Jon Bradley, Chris Gray. And Trombones are Julianne Gralle, Nicholas Daley, Erm Navarro, Ryan Dragon, and my daughter, Idun Carling. The rhythm section includes Jim Fox on guitar, Ken Wild on Bass, and Jamie Tate on drums. Special Guest star, Scotty Barnhart (trumpet player and leader of the Count Basie Orchestra) is flying in from New York to be my featured soloist. These musicians have recorded for everyone—including Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Michael Bublé, Rosemary Clooney, Dean Martin, The Woody Herman Big Band, The Count Basie Big Band, Lena Horne, Brian Setzer, and Quincy Jones.

As solo players we have also invited Luca Pino and Chloe Feoranzo from LA

Our Audio Engineer, Clark Germain has won an Emmy for his work on "Mozart of the Jungle," and a Grammy for his work on Wayne Shorter's record, Allegra.

We have sensational arrangements that were developed with the influence of all of my favorite recordings from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s and we will be recording 11 of my original songs:

Gunhild Carling is a world renowned musician, singer, song writer, and entertainer. She sings and plays more than 10 instruments (including trumpet, trombone, bag pipes, piano, harp, harmonica, recorder, and ukulele). She began performing with her family at the age of seven. She is often featured with big bands, Symphony Orchestras, Chamber Orchestras, and Postmodern Jukebox. Her own Youtube Channel has over 100,00 followers with weekly shows and millions of views.
